Record feature does not work

Very disappointed that I paid over $5.00 for this app and at the end of the "Chick" story, my daughter can not record her name. As a result, she cant finish the story. Not sure if others are having this problem, but hopefully it will be fixed. Yes, I checked to make sure my microphone was working
